CD cellomondo #4 - Inside is out!!
cellomondo celebrates its 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion, cellomondo is presenting its fourth edition/CD under the theme "Inside", with works by Kate Moore, Seung-Won Oh, Cecilia Arditto, Gerhard Stäbler and Kunsu Shim. The CD is linked to Katharina’s artist residency 2024/25 at the Aubette 1928 in Strasbourg, for which she is composing a new work entitled Images Intérieures.
cellomondo edition/CD #3 invited composers from Mexico, Brazil and Portugal to link up with the theme a world in transformation. What keeps us busy? What stagnates - what transforms? Which new territories of sound can be discovered when composing for cello and live electronics? cellomondo received wonderful compositional answers to these questions by Juan Felipe Waller, Erika Vega, Hugo Vasco Reis, Micael Antunes and Gabriel Xavier.
The 2nd cellomondo CD Rebirth in Sound with works by Aurélio Edler-Copes, Ryszard Lubieniecki, Jason Post, Alannah Halay, Dugal McKinnon, Patiparn Jaikampan and Artyom Kim will be available from February 2018.
The 1st cellomondo CD "Persistent Memory": works by Raphaël Languillat, Jakhongir Shukur, Johannes Kretz, Seung-Won Oh, Christopher Wood and Veronika Simor.
